About the Role:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable growth through direct customer engagement, account management, and new business development. This role will proactively build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions while partnering closely with internal teams including design, customer service, and production.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow an assigned customer base while actively prospecting and developing new sales opportunities.

Promote and sell across all five business groups to maximize profitability and account penetration.

Meet or exceed annual sales growth and profitability goals.

Participate in developing annual sales forecasts and account strategies.

Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and pipeline records in Pipedrive CRM.

Work collaboratively with internal design engineering and operations to create or modify product solutions.

Serve as the key liaison between customers and the organization, fostering communication with customer service, plant personnel, and leadership.

Develop a strong understanding of product capabilities and manufacturing limitations to ensure accurate quoting and delivery expectations.

Support credit and collections activities as needed.

Attend required meetings, training, and company events.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.

Recent graduates are encouraged to apply—particularly those who have completed:

Relevant coursework in sales, negotiation, or business development

Prior experience in B2B sales, account management, or manufacturing environments is a plus, but not required.

Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable working independently, traveling within assigned territory, and meeting with customers regularly.

Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented with a strong desire to grow sales career.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
