OPERATORS – 2nd Shift

Position: OPERATORS – 2nd Shift

These positions will be responsible for assisting with operation of machines, including set up, operation,
housekeeping/safety, training, and preventative maintenance as directed.

  • Adhere to production schedule and operate at available capacity
  • Properly read work order, print card, product structure for task at hand.
  • Monitor quality and ensure all quality procedures are followed, and quality standards are
    achieved/exceeded
  • Practice safety throughout work area
  • Proactively meet housekeeping standards and maintenance of equipment
  • Communicate production, quality, safety and/or machine repair issues on a timely basis to
    management
  • Set-up machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques
  • Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Ensure products are properly stacked for unitizing and/or palletizing
  • Monitor inventory of production supplies and inform management as appropriate
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management

Requirements:

1. Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
2. Must pass test on how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, decimals.
3. MUST be able to read a ruler/tape measurer and demonstrate in interview
4. Ability to complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited
to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data
5. Will spend significant amounts of time standing, walking, using hands, reaching with arms and
requires the ability to talk and hear. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is necessary with
regular lifting of up to 10 pounds required.

2nd Shift receives $2 per hour differential pay!
