Dunnage Air Bag Installation Instructions

Step 1: Load first row lightly against bulkhead. Load each successive row tightly against previous row.

Step 2: Last units placed against sides of trailer. Void should not exceed 18.1 inches (46 cm). Fill excess void with corrugated dunnage material.

Step 3: Always use proper material to protect bags from load face. No sharp edges or points may touch bag. Irregular load surfaces may require rigid buffering material. Buffering material must cover entire area of load face.

Step 4: Before attaching tip to valve, inspect BOTH tip and valve for damages.

Step 5: Attach tip by pressing down over valve. Hold air bag in place until pressure builds up. A single air bag will stabilize the load. Inflate bag until the load is pressed against the sides. Do not try to reposition bag once inflated. CAUTION... DO NOT OVER – INFLATE bag. Maximum pressure is printed on each bag, do not exceed maximum.

Step 6: Position bag 2 inches (5 cm) above floor. Inflated bag should cover at least two thirds of face and height of load. Level 5 bags may be used in voids up to 18.1 inches (46 cm). Level 1;2;3-4 bags should be used in voids from 12.2 inches to 18.1 inches (31 cm to 46 cm).

Step 7: Check air pressure once air bag is in place and inflated. CAUTION.... DO NOT PUNCTURE BAG. JUST UNSCREW THE VALVE.
